Keep Cozy...

It isn't always easy to keep warm and still look stylish at the same time.  This takes me back to the 5th grade when mom bought me that huge marshmallow jacket!  I think we've all been through one of those.  And if I can remember clearly, I hated it.  Sure, I remember perfectly! It may have been cute back then but it doesn't quite do the trick now.  This season it's all about colorful cozy sweaters, that can be layered.  I have been seeing printed sweaters in bright colors and I am in love!

For that layered look we all love, pair the sweater with a collared shirt.  You can do many variations not only by mixing different colors but pairing it with a unique collar.  It will give your cozy look a completely different perspective!

Making Baseball Fashionable

In case you have not heard on the news, Facebook or Twitter, the San Francisco Giants won the World Series.  I am more about the fashion than the sport itself.  And if a girl wants to show her team spirit a basic tee
will not cut it.  If we are going to step into a man's world of sports we definitely need to make sure we look good when doing it.  On the right are some top options that I found on the Giants official site.  They are perfect for those of us who do not want to settle for the basics, we want to take it one step further and make sure that we always look good, especially if we are representing our favorite team.  Ladies, don't forget about the bling to go with your outfit.  A little sparkle and glam never hurts.  Have fun showing off your Giants pride as they celebrate their win.

DIY Halloween Costumes

Still haven't found that amazing Halloween costume?  Don't worry I've got more DIY costumes for you.  Don't hold back, let those creative sparks fly!

I think the Mad Hatter is always a favorite costume for Halloween.  His character in Alice in Wonderland is so outrageous and dramatic.  Anybody would have a fun time trying to recreate his costume.  His costume is known for bright colors such as; orange and purple.  You can't be the Mad Hatter without a huge bow tie and orange wig.

If you want to feel like "The Queen of Rock and Roll" on Halloween then Janis Joplin is a must!  The queen gained her fame in the 1960's, soon becoming a legend.  Lets not forget the mark she left on the fashion world with her unique sense of style.  Joplin's dress in the 60's consisted of red bell bottoms, fur coats, and round shades!

One of the most inspirational designers, Coco Chanel, had an easy style to recreate.  Coming from a fashion industry view point, Chanel's look is one many wouldn't mind wearing.  For the costume take a simple black dress, a chain of pearls, and a quilted black purse.     Remember that Coco Chanel was always classic.

Put On A Happy Face

Rock Out with Your Socks Out

The weather is finally changing and it's time to retire our dresses and sandals and start thinking of fall fashions.  One of my favorite perks to the cooler weather, is finally bringing out my knee high socks!  I have accumulated a large selection of different socks over time, so at the first chance that I have I will definitely wear them.  I always feel that no matter the outfit that I might be wearing, I can always add a little personality with crazy, colorful socks.  Plus they are very practical since they help to keep my legs warm.  There are so many options that there is a pair for every personality.

Summer Time

Hello Fashionistas!
Summer has finally arrived and along with it new fashion choices.  Summer happens to be my favorite season.  I love wearing lightweight fabrics and incorporating floral prints into my outfits during this time of year.  I enjoy the easiness of just throwing on some high-waisted shorts and paring them with a  cropped top.  Or perhaps just slipping into that one soft skirt that sways along with you each time you take a step.  Here are some outfits I put together for you to enjoy and get gather your own inspiration from for those summer days!

Spring is here
